Origin Green Gold Membership for 2023

We are very happy here at Miena's to have received our Origin Green Gold Membership for 2023. 

Sustainability is so important to us here at Miena's and we put a lot of work into meeting targets that respect the environment and serve local communities more effectively.

We first became a member of Origin Green in 2017 and carried out a five-year sustainability plan. During that time, we not only met those targets but in many cases surpassed them.

We are always aiming to reduce energy consumption further as well as making sure all our operations meet robust environmental standards. We will achieve this as we remain a small operation using all natural ingredients with minimal waste.

Our key commitments include:

Reducing energy consumption

Sourcing ingredients from as close as possible to her production kitchen

Using only recyclable material in packaging

Training her team on environmentally friendly procedures

Working with local groups and organizations to ensure the environment is respected by all.

Being an integral part of the community in Wicklow and working with neighbours to protect the natural habitat
